#14-20 Lower Manhattan. We went down to get the ferry to Liberty Island.
 We spent a little too long in the pub and missed the last boat
 Not too upset, we went to the pub after we took in some of the sights
 The statue was still closed to the public because of nine eleven.   

#21 Too nice a day for the subway. A brisk 15 block walk for breakfast. Scatter

#22 The Dead Poet, very hard place to spend money.
Free T-shirts, free beer, free food. Marty even got a free packet of ciggies

#23 David singing 500 miles again. Frre beer thanks to his dull sett (dulcet! surely) tones

#24-27 The underground. $21 for a weeks travel. You see all sorts on this, most of them are in the pictures.
Four or five dudes walking up the trains singing for loose change. Not us!
The best was the old steamer kidding on he was stipping while singing "It's getting hot in here"
He belted oot another song, ah wish ah could remember what it was. We wur in stitches, he earned a few bucks that day.
